Julie Henry
Grants & Project Manager
As Grants & Project Manager, Julie Henry oversees FASI’s diverse grant portfolio with over $38.5M funded since inception. She is responsible for ensuring FASI Investigators are funded on a yearly basis, articulating the science behind each grant proposal, and drafting formal contracts for each grant in conjunction with various institutions. Julie works alongside FASI’s CEO and scientific team to manage collaborations with FASI investigators across academic institutions as well as supporting projects under FASI’s translational science and drug discovery programs.
Julie holds an impressive academic background, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Science from the University of Vermont and her Master of Science from Northeastern University. Prior to joining FASI, Julie worked at Northeastern University as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Aid where she was responsible for overseeing scholarships. In her role as Grants Manager, Julie has integrated her enthusiasm for nutrition and food science with her prior expertise in overseeing financial resources.
