Justine Levin-Allerhand is Executive Vice President, Development, Business, and External Relations at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. A scientist by training, she has diverse experience in raising funds for basic science and biomedicine.

At the Broad, Levin-Allerhand leads the institute’s efforts to develop and steward philanthropic and industry partnerships. She also oversees communications and government relations and is the clerk of the Board of Directors.

Previously, she was deputy director for international fundraising at Yale University and the director of science and engineering fundraising for the Yale Tomorrow campaign. Prior to Yale, she was director of corporate and foundation relations at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and a development officer in corporate and foundation relations at the Yale School of Medicine.

Levin-Allerhand earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Barnard College and a Ph.D. from the Rockefeller University. She completed her postdoctoral training at the Yale School of Medicine.
