About FASI

Our Impact

FASI’s impact reaches beyond any single discovery. FASI has advanced what science knows about food allergy, how researchers study it, and what they can pursue next. Our impact reaches across the field, strengthening the foundation for better diagnosis, treatment, and prevention and opening new possibilities for people living with food allergy.

A Decade of Discovery:
Accelerating What Comes Next

Ten years of FASI’s bold questions and collaborative research have expanded what scientists understand today about food allergy. In 2026, their team built on that foundation by moving promising discoveries toward new ways to diagnose, prevent, and treat the disease. With stronger tools, growing partnerships, and new studies underway, the path to better care and the hope for a cure is becoming clearer.

Opening a New Path to Treatment

FASI expanded its research in 2025, uncovering new clues about how the skin, brain, gut, and immune system work together in food allergy. For the first time, FASI launched a drug discovery program, creating a clearer path for turning these findings into potential treatments. Together, these advances opened a promising new chapter in food allergy research.
