We are helping entire communities. Someday we will not need a nut policy in schools or on airplanes. Restaurants and public venues will not pose such a threat. Today, what we do can mean life or death for a child with severe food allergies. We need to do something about this now or we will never make progress towards a cure, and that is what FASI is doing
Ning Drako holds a SB in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a SM from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Her professional background includes leadership roles in sales and product marketing at IBM and Sun Microsystems, as well as serving as Director of Development at the International School of the Peninsula.
An active member of the global education and alumni communities, Ning has held numerous volunteer positions at the American School in Japan and serves on the MIT Alumni Association Board of Directors.
A mother of three, Ning became deeply involved in food allergy advocacy and research through her personal experience raising a daughter with multiple severe food allergies. Living in constant fear and managing the challenges that come with severe food allergies sparked her passions for increasing awareness, advancing research, and supporting affected families. Ning’s journey led her to the Food Allergy Science Initiative (FASI), where she is an active and ardent supporter.
